Get ahead!
Dear all
For over ten years, we’ve invited you to taste an exclusive selection of crus from Bordeaux and elsewhere that reignite our love for wine, and we’re very pleased to bring you this eleventh edition. It’s structured around you, visitors, to take you closer than ever to the latest developments in Bordeaux wines with exclusive insight into the estates’ growing quality and to access privileged information on the qualitative evolution of the properties (who is making more of an effort than the others?), to get ahead.
Bordeaux wines have never tasted better. Don’t miss them!
We look forward to your presence and hope you have a pleasant time enjoying the quality of the wines present and the exchanges with the owners.
Welcome to this eleventh edition!
The event’s strengths
Discovery of today’s most sophisticated Bordeaux wines
A unique opportunity to discover a selection of thirty estates from Bordeaux and beyond, featuring three vintages: 2023, 2022, plus a special older vintage.
Simple understanding of winemaking
The event takes visitors along a meticulously planned tasting journey. Everyone leaves with a simple understanding of Bordeaux winemaking and the qualitative endeavours of selected crus. To facilitate the discovery of red wines, for example, crus from the right banks of the Garonne and Gironde are distinguished from the left banks. After all, there aren’t thirty different taste families in Bordeaux, like the thirty existing AOC red wines might suggest, but two flavour profiles depending on whether the cru is on the left or right bank
Confirm your own taste
Are you more right or left bank? The journey of discovery presents the wines as enthusiasts would if they served them at home, with no concern for masking one with another. The selection of wines is so qualitative that it enables everyone to confirm their unapologetic preference for either bank.
Benefit from exclusive discussions
Interact with the owners and technical managers of every label taking part in the event.
"An Outsider is a wine, whose taste is better than the label would lead us to believe”.
Jean-Marc Quarin, Independent reviewer of Bordeaux wines - www.quarin.com
Don’t know where to begin?
Let yourself be guided by the tasting itinerary, designed as a true connoisseur might choose to serve their wines at home, carefully avoiding any jarring flavors.
And discover the distinct tastes of Bordeaux wines, depending on whether they are produced on the right or left bank of the Gironde and Garonne rivers.
